Please join your fellow AFE members and members of the Facility Engineering Community for an inside look at the completely restored Minnesota State Capitol Building. Attendees will be taken on a guided tour by members of the Minnesota Historical Society and Plant Management Staff with project narration. A detailed presentation will be given by the General Contractor, Architect, and the Capitol Complex Project manager and will focus on the unique challenges encountered with restoration of a 112 year old building. Attendee check-in for this remarkable event will occur at the Minnesota Senate Building, 95 W. University Ave., St. Paul, MN  55155 in room 1200 which is located across the street from the Capitol Building. There is public parking available in Lot C located on Sherburne Ave between Rice St and Park St. And the Capitol/Rice Street Station is well positioned for those who would like to take the Light Rail system. 

The full tour and presentation are scheduled to conclude at around 12:00pm. Lunch is on your own, however folks are gathering at the Transporation Building located at 395 John Ireland Blvd, St Paul, MN 55155.
